Robert & Susan Garden
Robert & Susan Garden, co-founders of the Robert Garden School of Art in Irving, Texas in 1976 are award-winning master artists whose works range from private galleries to museum murals. The Garden’s, who hold Master’s Degrees in Fine Art, has received “Teacher of the Year” awards from various school districts and a Curriculum Excellence award from the Texas Education Agency. Their revolutionary method of teaching beginners to advanced artists, ages 5 to 105, is popularized through their books, television appearances, instructional videos, a unique line of art supplies and numerous classes, workshops, and camps for children and adults.
The Garden’s “You Can Paint” classes range from preschoolers to seniors. They are recognized Instructors for Boy Scouts of America where they offer special merit badge workshops at the National Scouting Museum and for Brownies and Girl Scouts at the Jo-Ann Fogg Service Center and to local troops throughout North Texas. The popular workshops are taught by the Garden’s and their team of personally trained and certified instructors in public and private school continuing education programs, recreation centers, senior centers and in exotic locations on cruise ships and resorts.
